Almost every logistics app needs maps and routing, and Google Maps gets expensive fast when a rider app makes thousands of calls a day. This talk walks through a live rider delivery app built entirely on flutter_map and OSRM, with no Google Maps and no paid map SDK: how routes and rider location are drawn, why the stop-order optimization lives on the backend, and the small things that cost the most time, like tile caching and keeping the map smooth on cheap Android phones.
