AI development: agents, chatbots and MCP tools
Zaid Sayyed is an AI developer in Mumbai, India who builds AI agents, LLM chatbots and Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools. He built CodeResite AI, a platform with 30+ MCP tools, and Dispatch, the assistant on zaidsayyed.in that answers questions about his work from the site's own content. He adds AI features to apps and websites.

Questions people ask
What is an AI agent?
An AI agent is software that uses a large language model to plan steps and call tools, such as search or your APIs, to finish a task instead of only replying. Zaid Sayyed builds agents and the tools they call, as in Codify and CodeResite AI.
What is the difference between an AI agent and a chatbot?
A chatbot mainly answers questions in conversation; an AI agent can also act, calling tools and working through multi-step tasks. Many products combine both. Zaid Sayyed builds both: Dispatch, the assistant on zaidsayyed.in, and agents with MCP tools in CodeResite AI.
What is an MCP server?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants call tools and read data through one consistent interface. An MCP server exposes your data or actions, such as search, tickets or a database, so assistants like Claude can use them safely. Zaid has built 30+ MCP tools.
Can you build a chatbot that answers from my website or documents?
Yes. Zaid builds assistants that answer from your own content and show where an answer came from, and that say so when the content does not cover a question. Dispatch on zaidsayyed.in works this way.
Can you add AI to a Flutter app?
Yes. A Flutter app can call an AI model through a backend API to add chat, search, summaries or extraction, with keys kept on the server. Zaid Sayyed builds both the Flutter app and the AI feature, so the two are designed together.
Which AI models do you work with?
He picks the model for the job and the budget: hosted models from Anthropic, OpenAI or Google, or fast open models through providers like Groq and Cerebras. The choice is part of the estimate, with the expected running cost.
How do you keep AI running costs under control?
Short, relevant context instead of whole documents, caching, the smallest model that does the job, and per-user and site-wide rate limits. Zaid's own assistant runs with daily limits so a spike in traffic cannot run up a bill.
Is my data safe?
Keys and data stay on the server, never in the browser, and only the content the feature needs is sent to the model. Zaid designs features to fail closed: if the AI provider is down or over its limit, the product keeps working without it.
